Are you analyzing your induction hardening method properly?

Induction hardening faridabad
We were recently contacted by new workers from associate previous client.  It seems that they have a provider of a finished half having issues with the Induction hardening.  Hardness required is 40-44 Rc.  Many recent tons had hardness problems.  Hardness values were as low as 7 Rc to seventeen Rc.
And they were on the verge of losing the accreditation of their product from the business wide association of finish users.

The questions we tend to asked included:
  • Ø  Any analyze of the problem by the supplier?  No.
  • Ø  Review of his process trying for changes?  Not extremely.
  • Ø  Review of the steel certifications?  No.
  • Ø  Material reviews?  Only carbon content asked for by the half manufacturer and it was within the correct vary.
  • Ø  Any microstructure reviews?  No.
  • Ø  Surface conditions?  No.  Discussions followed noting the need for the right microstructure and surface conditions.

We then provided a study of the material to verify the suitableness of the microstructure and therefore the potential for achievement.  Samples were provided and induction hardened successfully.  Review of the material indicated sufficient lamellar mixture for hardening.  Surface hardness was in the range.  Readings were also obtained at the center line of the half.  We square measure currently the supplier of the induction heat treating.

Basically for a few cents a bit a provider was brought on board that was unable offer to supply to produce the right process or provide help and downside determination to crucial a root cause.  Fortunately, our results and report has allowed the customer to maintain their enfranchisement for this product of Induction hardening Faridabad.
